Welcome to Artpeas.com! My name is Julie Ross and I am a Peace Artist.  That is to say, I create works that convey a message of peace.  I use my work to inspire and appeal to viewers to commit themselves to further spread the same message .  I do this by incorporating the symbol of the small and fragile pea.  Myself inspired by the simple wisdom of a bumper sticker to " Visualize Whirled Peas, " I variously employ the "pea" symbol in my works for viewers to reflect upon as a vital messenger for the cause of peace.  Sometimes, my titles and subject matter are straightforward and quite literal.  At other times, I subtly incorporate images for the viewer to ponder at a more subconscious level.  Regardless of the method, the idea across all my work is to resonate this positive energy. It is my sincere hope that the message spreads the world over, so that we may all experience peace in our everyday lives. I see "peas" everywhere.  I hope this ever-present little green sphere comes to mean the same to you as it does to me.
